About Me
When I was just a young girl, around 13 years old, my fascination for computers and technology had just begun to fester deep inside of me. My dad-built computers from what I had seen as a pile of metal and wires that he would insert into a large box; I just knew that I needed him to teach me how he did this. As a teenager, I had the immediate experience of hands on, while growing up when computers were most likely to have only a black and green screen. This was the beginning of my computer knowledge and technical addiction. I did not know what every single part inside of a computer was called, however I knew exactly how to connect the pieces, it was like a puzzle to me and each time that I built one, I had to build another that was greater and faster with more capability than the prior. This was only the basis of my computer experience. Now a few decades later, I am in college learning about the new, more powerful, and capable computers, how they function, the names of the parts that I had not an idea about as a teen, and newer more innovative technology. I am majoring in Business and accounting, so both the hands on as well as the knowledge will help me to move forward with my future aspirations by providing further knowledge to know exactly which computer systems, security, and software will work best for my desired company.
